Art time at school

I had it together enough today to squeeze in some painting. This is the first time Sophie has shown any interest in holding a brush to paint. Even more miraculous is that she didn't taste it!!
After about 3 minutes with those we had to move her on to dot painters...she dotted with those for about 2 minutes, then spent 10 minutes just taking the tops on and off. *sigh* Then, she couldn't stand the suspense any longer...she had to taste it. Her painting session ended and guess where she had to go??



Yeah...the pack-n-play. Despite the pitiful look she was actually glad to be in there. Go figure.

Then here is Sarah. Her technique has changed a lot in just a few months. She used to just paint whatever, which usually looked like nothing. But today, she actually had a theme...Spring. She painted several pictures. I was so proud of her.
