12 days until take off...literally!
That's right...in 12 days we will be on our way to China! Yahoo!!!!
Sarah is excited...I think....have I seen her today? Kidding. But my head is spinning. And I haven't been much "fun" today. But she's a trooper.
Today I finally gave in to the fear of "misplacing" Sarah in China. She tends to...well...wander. And I tend to...well...get mad about it. :) So today I found a monkey back pack that has a "tail" for the "mama monkey" to hold on to. :) Yeah, that's right, it's a "leash" to you. But she thinks it's cool, even wanted me to practice with it when we tried it on. And I think it's good for my sanity. :) Especially in China where "she's this big with dark hair, dark eyes, beautiful brown skin" won't help me much. Ya know?
So anyway. Tomorrow I will post a link to the website we will use while in China. Blogger is blocked there. I will use the new site from tomorrow until a little while after we're back and then will let everyone know to go back to this one.

Wednesday's update....
More waiting....we are hoping to hear today that we have our consulate appt. With that they can determine the end date of our trip.
As of now we will leave on the 15th!!! I started packing last night. Did you know it's really hard to resign yourself to 5 pairs of socks for a 2 week trip?? Even though I know we'll be able to do laundry while we're there. Then there is packing for a baby you don't know the exact size of. Don't even get me started on trying to pack for Sarah. It's crazy. But it is part of the adventure. :)
Sarah is so excited to go and get Sophie. She keeps asking "after today?". Me? Oh I'm excited too. I was folding some onesies to pack last night and couldn't believe how small they were!! She's really coming home!!!
Well...I'm having a hard time concentrating, so I guess I'll go pack a little. :)
