Our little ballerina

My heavens I'm behind again...or maybe life happened faster than normal this past week...I think that's what it was.
Sarah had her first ballet recital at the beginning of the week. I brought the camera and the video camera secretly hoping we wouldn't have a repeat of the Christmas program (Sarah had a strange version of stage fright...I guess you could call it "too social to sing"...her first time on stage and she just wanted to go talk to everyone she knew in the first few rows; and spent the rest of the time admiring all those people there to see *her*. :) No, she wasn't scared...she thought it was great. *sigh*
So this time I was hoping she wouldn't just stand there looking cute while scanning the crowd. :)
SHE DID GREAT!!!! She had so much fun! Don't tell anyone I said this, but she was the CUTEST one up there. heehee

As we were waiting for it to start I noticed several parents and grandparent with flowers to give their little dancers at the end and got a bit nervous...I hadn't brought any. I had only promised ice cream. Oh my. At the end their teacher gave them each some daisies and Sarah came running up to me with her daisies held out and said "mommy! Ice cream??" Seeeeeeeee.....I know my girl. :) Flowers die...ice cream tastes like heaven. :)
