What summer is all about...

As May came to a close I was freaking out about what in the world we would do for the summer. We knew vacations were out. Of course in my chaos, Sarah is as cool as a cucumber. To her, life is simple...wake up, hold mama for a few minutes, eat a snack and watch Big Big World (I'll admit this can sometimes turn into a total PBS morning fest on housework day), maybe run a few errands, an always cool lunch to which she usually says "it was delicious mama! you're the big best!" (we're not sure where that came from, but whatever, it works), take a nap, wake up, hold mama, check email...to her the days are full of fun and adventure. To me, I'm paranoid I'm not enough "fun". But then Sarah will request me to "come snuggle" before she falls off to sleep, and you realize love is sometimes all the "fun" you need.

Sometimes though, fun is....an ice cold "puhpul icey pops".

Or, making lemonade out of the lemons of getting a car fixed. We had to use Daddy's truck for a week while the car was being worked on. Sarah was beside herself getting to sit in the "front" seat. And mommy kindof liked the convenience of it too! Here she is showing off her new ride.....

There have been playdates, pool parties, Kindermusik camp...all big fun. But at the end of the day sometimes she has just had enough of that annoying black clicky thing in front of mommy's face and she cries "mommy, no more pictures...too many". But I couldn't help myself, the girl is so stinkin' cute!!!!! So here is the final picture on some day in June...where the paparazzi had just gone too far......

We love you all! (Sarah especially loves the mail she's been receiving lately!)
